Individual name giving for Smartgoals
I want to be able to name my goal however I want to. Right now I can only name it after one of the predefined categories like „other things“ or „new car“ or whatever.

Arrange sub category in alphabetical order
I find it hard that every time I add a new subcategory, it is not placed at the bottom but is scrambled randomly along with your old inputs. Please arrange it alphabetically to make it easier to find and also apply a suggested word when you type a new one (auto-spell?) so that you dont input the same words more than once in a subcategory.
1 voteYou can rearrange the subcategories to however you like. You can drag the ones you want to the top so that you have quick access to it.

Table for repeating transactions
Can we have a Table for repeating transactions.
For example, I have a recurring transaction to be done for next 5 months, there should be a TABLE view in that recurring tnx, with start & end date

It’s great that you can custom arrange subcategories, but it will be easier if there is a button for alphabet autosort like there was before

A possible bug in report ‘Transaction by Category’
In Reports, there is a report named ‘Transactions by Category’ showing/counting ‘Transfer’ transactions as Spending transactions. This is not accurate. I have money in Account A to be transferred to Account B per month, and this is not an expenditure. But somehow the updated app counts this Transfer transaction as an expenditure (I haven’t checked to see if it also counts Transfer as an income). The result is my expenses increase dramatically in this report. The ‘Transaction by Category’ report shows a category named ‘Transfer’ accounting for up to 50% of my monthly expenditures. Please remove Transfer category from expenditures…
1 voteThe report will show Transfer only when you move money between Normal and Savings/Goals, so you “limit” yourself from spending money that’s supposed to be for something else.

Ability to manually change/set the Currency Foreign Exchange Rate
I set the Main Currency of my app to VND. Thus, when I create an Account named ‘Stocks’ with an initial amount of $1,000, the app shows 2 currencies (VND and USD) for this Account, which is what I need. But the exchange rate is not correct due to different times (of entering a transaction). 1 USD = 23,250 VND in March when I first changed my money from VND to USD to enter the stock market, but MoneyCoach uses April exchange rate of 1 USD = 23,234 VND. I want to manually set the exchange rate for each transaction.

Sync Goals to an Account
Request for Feature to ‘Sync Goals to an Account’
I have an Account named ‘Bank Savings’ where I put money at a bank monthly to get monthly interest income. Thus, I usually add 2 transactions per month called Bank Deposit and Interest Income. Now, I’m starting to set Retirement Goal, but MoneyCoach won’t let me sync the Goal to the Account. All I was forced to do is to go to:
Smart Goals -> Retirement -> Make a Deposit —> Transfer money From: Account named ‘Bank Savings’ To: Goal//Retirement.
Then, the money in ‘Bank Savings’ Account is deducted which does…

Weekly Reports
Hello. As I said in my review on app store I really love this app. The only thing I’d like to see in future updates is the option to check reports per week in “transactions by category”, this is because I am getting paid every week so the statistics for me gonna be more exactly. Also I want you to add option to select day when week start. That’s all. Hope this is up to you. Regards!!

Lend function
It would be nice to have lend function, for example you lend some money from some one, and you need to give it back and somewhere it will show how much left to pay back.
2 votesYou can achieve all of this using Smart Goals, create a goal with the amount you need to pay and you will see how much money you need to pay and when.

Payment Transfer
Having the ability to transfer money from one account to another. Here’s an example;
You setup a Salary Account and a Credit Card Account. Let’s say every week to pay $100 to your credit account. Therefore -$100 from Salary Account and +$100 to your Credit Card Account.
Currently there’s no easy way of doing this unless you have to create a Income amount in the Credit Card Account.

A Cash withdrawal should not be an expense, but a transfer to cash

Keyboard Shortcuts for iPad
This one's the only feature that keeps holding me back from almost any iPad app. A simple new entry shortcut like "cmd+n" would be perfect for the start.

Pay periods
I get paid every 2 weeks would be nice to be able to see the next pay period being at least weekly if not every 2 weeks. I know some people get paid weekly, some every 2 weeks, some monthly. This will help us save money better.
1 voteYou can set up the Pay Periods based on your Salary transactions. Just select that on the Summary Cards settings and you will see that reflected on the cards.

Taking a looooong time to download a transaction to save!
I would love this app to be as fast as it used to be. Within the last few weeks, it takes quite a while to “save” transactions!
