Allocating money to Savings etc
The main screen shows how much of the income you've spent this month. It would be nice if I could set aside some of that income to not be spent. IE emergency funds, savings, or project saving
Hey guys,
this was added on 4.0. You can now create Savings accounts and money transferred there, will be calculated and “removed” from your current budget, so that you can save more money each month.
Check out this guide – https://moneycoach-app.com/guide-how-to-create-and-use-savings-accounts/

When will saving goals be released? I want to be able to set aside a certain amount each pay period for annual things like insurance, property taxes. Transferring them into another account still shows them as available during the current period.

I was thinking of having an account for savings, but I can’t seem to transfer between the accounts. That would allow for tracking of savings. We set money aside for big bills, but there is no way to track that. The ‘saving goal’ feature would allow for that type of tracking.

It will be great to have a saving ‘budget’ and by the end of each financial month/period, there’s an option to transfer all unused budget to the savings budget.

It would be great to have a section similar to budget but to set a saving goal. For example set a goal of $2000 for vacations and let the app manage how far am I from it and tell me at least how much I need to save each week. Thanks for reading!!

This is my personal case: I have an excel file in which every day I report the value of each single fund I have. In another cell I have the number of quotes I’ve got so in the third cell there is the total amount for the day for the quote (so if I have 5 funds I will have 5 cells with daily quote, 5 cells with number of quotes and 5 cells with daily total).
So after many months I can see (through a graph) how the fund is going, giving me the total amount of my savings.
Eg: Fund 1 on 1/1/17 1€ x 1 quote= total 1€... 11/1/17 1,2€ x 1 quote= total 1,2€
Fund 2 on 1/1/17 1€ x 1 quote = total 1€... 11/1/17 0,7€ x 1quote= total 0,7€
Daily total on 1/1/17= 2€ (=). On 11/1/17 1,9€ (-).Need more details?
