It would be nice to see a recurring “transaction” for variable bills. There are two types: 1) Credit card bills: these transactions are transfers from paying account to the credit card account and 2) Variable recurring expenses: e.g. electricity/ gas/ phone bills—these will be recurring expenses.

These recurring expenses and transfers would differ from ordinary recurring transactions in one main way: the amount is defaulted at zero and you manually enter the amount once you get your bill. You can then process the transaction.
