Exclude Transaction In Budgeting
It would be helpful to be able to select transactions that are counted in our budget and exclude them if we paid for something but it was on behalf for someone else or paid by someone else so it wasn’t a purchase that should be counted towards the budget.
For example: A friend asked me to buy some food for him and me and offers to pay for the both of us if I pick it up for us.
An alternative feature would be to link a repayment to a purchase so in the event that we are not repaid for a purchase, it will be counted towards the budget, but if it does, it won’t be counted in the budget.
Another alternative would be to allow income to be contributed towards a budget so if I get “food money” it would increase my budget more than the period usual amount.
Thanks for the amazing app, I hope this idea comes into fruition!

If I'm following you correctly couldn't you add your friend's repayment as a negative expense using the same category and subcategory as the original expense?
e.g. I buy groceries for me and Jane which cost €100. I pay with my N26 debit card. Jane generously gives me €100 in cash.
Transaction 1: Expense
Account: N26
Amount: €100
Category: Food
Sub-Category: Groceries
Payee: AldiTransaction 2: Expense
Account: Wallet
Amount: -€100 (note the negative sign)
Category: Food
Sub-Category: Groceries
Payee: JaneIf Jane just paid for her groceries, say €40, then the repayment transaction would be -€40 (note the neg sign). This would mean that the net spend in your budget would be €60.
Does that help?
